Design: GLOBE Electric Chain Hoists are designed and manufactured to IS: 6547 — so you know exactly what you're getting: a hoist built to a recognised standard, not just a spec sheet.
Construction: GLOBE Hoists feature a unique modular construction where each sub-assembly is individually accessible, making maintenance faster and less costly. Less downtime, more uptime.
Frame & Gear Box: The frame is fabricated from tested steel plates in a welded/bolted design for maximum rigidity. The totally enclosed gear box uses EN-9/EN-24 steel gears, precision hobbed, hardened and tempered — and they're self-lubricating, so no greasing intervals to worry about.
Electric Motor: Powered by a 3 Phase, 440V AC, 50 cycle squirrel cage induction motor from SIEMENS or N.G.E.F. — proven, reliable drives that handle continuous duty without complaint.
Load Chain & Brake: The load chain conforms to IS: 6216-1971, Grade 80, calibrated and heat treated. Instant-action electromagnetic disc brakes provide fail-safe operation — the load stays put the moment power is cut.
Control Panel & Hooks: Totally enclosed, dust and moisture-proof panel housing components from SIEMENS, L&T, BCH, and Telemecanique, operating at low voltage for operator safety. Hooks are steel forged to IS: 8610-1977, free to rotate and swivel.
Tested: Every hoist is tested at 25% overload in conformance with IS: 6547-1971 before dispatch. You get a hoist that's already proven itself before it reaches your site.
